About this product

Reference priceUS$0.10 – 1.20 / pcFOB Xiamen · varies with width and order quantity

Hook and loop strap made up and ready to use, 10-150 mm wide in Black, with the hook and loop sewn back-to-back so the strap closes on itself at any point along its length. Stock widths are slit in one millimetre steps, so the size on your drawing is normally a slitting instruction rather than a new tool. Tell us the width and the put-up and the quote is against a stock construction.

Where it is used

It is used for cable and hose management in plant rooms and on vehicles, for bundling timber and tube on site, and for securing loads inside vans and containers. Where the strap has to stay tight under load without re-adjustment, specify a buckle rather than a plain tie.

Ordering

Quotations are built from three things: the construction, the width and the colour. Change any one of them and the price moves, which is why we ask for all three before quoting rather than sending a range and adjusting afterwards.

How to specify it

If the width is still open, send the part, the drawing or a photograph with a ruler in it. Choosing between 20 mm and 25 mm on a photograph alone is guesswork, and the difference matters at the edge where the peel starts.

Quality control

Aesthetics are inspected on the full roll, not on a cut sample: weft skew, oil marks and hook damage are all visible at speed and all of them are reject criteria if your line is automated.

Packing and shipping

Rolls are wound on a core, bagged and packed in export cartons, palletised for LCL and shrink-wrapped for FCL. Carton marks carry your reference as well as ours if you send the format with the order.

Tell us the standard your customer audits and we will quote the construction that meets it, with the report issued against the production lot. A generic certificate is easy to buy and hard to defend, and it is the first thing an auditor asks about.

Ordering and shipping

  • Sold by the roll, carton or pallet — mixed widths allowed.
  • EXW Xiamen, FOB or CIF to your port.
  • T/T 30% deposit, balance against copy of B/L.
  • Sample orders ship by courier in 7 days.

Choosing this construction

Match the strap to what it wraps, not to the load alone. Bundles under 30 mm do better with 12–16 mm ties, cable runs and tool handles with 20–25 mm, and anything carrying weight with 38 mm and a buckle rather than a tie. A strap that is too wide will not cinch tight enough to stop movement.

Common questions

What is 25 mm hook and loop used for?

At 25 mm this construction is normally specified for furniture trim, panel fixing, mid-weight strap assemblies and equipment covers. The width does not change the peel per unit width much, but narrower tape engages fewer hooks at the edge, which is where peeling starts — so if the joint opens repeatedly, go up one width rather than up one grade.

Buckle or tie — which one?

A tie is faster to fit and cheaper, and is right for anything a technician opens daily. A buckle holds tension better and is what to specify when the strap has to stay tight under load without being re-adjusted. We supply both from the same webbing.

Can the straps be printed with our logo?

Yes, from 1,000 pieces on woven webbing. Send vector artwork; we will confirm the print area against the strap width before tooling.

What is the minimum order and lead time?

Minimum order for this item is 500 pcs stock colour / 3,000 pcs dyed. Production runs 15–25 days after sample approval, with samples typically shipped in 7 days.
