Hook and loop tape in bulk, 90 mm wide in a stock colour, wound on a spliced-free roll for converters and OEM lines. Standard put-up is 25 m; longer runs are quoted against the master roll. 90 mm is at the top of the slitting range. Rolls get heavy and stiffness rises, so check that your applicator can carry the roll before you commit to this width for a full run.
Where it is used
It goes onto slitters, laminators, rotary die-cutters and hand-fed benches. Roll diameter and core size should be quoted with the width: a 150 mm wide roll at 25 m is heavy enough that a light-duty mandrel will sag.
Ordering
Width, colour and put-up are set per order, so a mixed carton is normal rather than an exception. Minimum order is 500 m stock colour / 3,000 m dyed, and the master roll exists after the first run, which means a repeat order on the same construction does not add lead time.
How to specify it
To quote this without a round of questions we need four things: the width, the colour, the substrate or the seam it goes into, and the annual volume. The first three decide the construction; only the fourth decides the price band.
Quality control
Incoming yarn is checked for denier and colour before weaving, and the finished roll is measured at the core and at the outside. A slitting drift shows up at one end long before it shows up in the middle, which is why both ends are measured.
Packing and shipping
Pallets are built to a 1,100 mm footprint and strapped, with corner boards on export shipments. If your warehouse takes a different pallet, say so at the quote stage — re-palletising at the port is charged by the hour.
If the width is not settled, send the drawing or the part it has to hold and we will suggest the narrowest width that does the job. Narrower is cheaper and follows a radius better; wider only helps where a large flat face has to stay down.

Choosing this construction
Bulk rolls are for converters who slit, coat or die-cut downstream. Check the splice count and the width tolerance at both ends of the roll before you build a line around it — a roll that measures 25 mm at the start and 24.4 mm at the end will jam a fixed guide.
Common questions
What is 90 mm hook and loop used for?
At 90 mm this construction is normally specified for industrial fixing, wide panel mounting and heavy equipment covers. The width does not change the peel per unit width much, but narrower tape engages fewer hooks at the edge, which is where peeling starts — so if the joint opens repeatedly, go up one width rather than up one grade.
Are the rolls spliced?
No. Standard 25 m rolls are splice-free, and the width is held within ±0.5 mm at both ends. If you are running a fixed guide or a slitter, ask for the width measured at the core and at the outside of the roll on the lot report.
Can you slit to a width that is not on the list?
Yes, from 10 mm up to 150 mm in 1 mm steps. Slitting runs on a tension-controlled line at the mill, so a custom width does not add lead time once the master roll exists.
